KfW Development Bank to support policy implementation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 11, Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia Jorn Rosenberg and Director of KfW Development Bank Representative’s Office Michael Sumser.
The sides noted the continuous expansion in development cooperation between Mongolia and Germany, with this year marking the 30th anniversary. In the past 30 years, the Federal Republic of Germany has implemented various projects and programs with non-refundable aid and soft loans amounting to a total of EUR 470 million in sectors including energy, environment, and education in Mongolia.
In the framework of further partnership, the side of KfW expressed support for the Government of Mongolia’s Action Program for 2020-2024, ‘Vision-2050’ long-term development program, the main direction for socio-economic development, and the implementation of some policies reflected in mid- and long-term strategic documents.
