Senior athlete of Mongolia becomes world champion in swimming

Senior water sports athlete of Mongolia Sh.Davaadorj has won International Winter Swimming Association World Cup among masters. Thereby, he becomes the first ever Mongolian master to win a medal of IWSA World Cup.

Mongolia selected as Vice Chair of UNESCO’s IPDC

The Intergovernmental Council of the International Programme on Development of Communication (IPDC) by the UNESCO selected Mongolia to be its Vice Chair for 2013-2017. The IPDC aims at promoting the development of mass media in developing countries. In last 30 years, it has carried out some 1,500 projects totaling USD 100 million in more than 140 countries. 

Mongolian young man receives cooperation proposal

One of the best eight participants of the Mongolia’s got talent-2016 TV show, member of the “Punk n rap” group B.Shijirbat’s performance was watched by over 20 million people. His amazing performance combining graphic animation with dance has captured attention of Sam Feldt (Sammy Renders) Dutch DJ and music producer. Described by Billboard as "a modern house superstar" Feldt has come up with a cooperation proposal through his official page, leaving his e-mail address to B.Shijirbat.

Mongolia shows success at Raw Powerlifting Championships

The powerlifters won one gold, two silver and one bronze medals at the World Raw Powerlifting Championships, held November 15-20 in Moscow. Other two powerlifters have secured the 5th place in -110 kg and 4th place in -90 kg.
