U.S. Secretary of State to Pay an Official Visit to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, July 27, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh, United States Secretary of State Antony John Blinken will pay an official visit to Mongolia on August 1, 2024.


During the visit, Secretary of State Antony John Blinken will pay a courtesy call on President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai. Also, Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh and Secretary of State Antony John Blinken will hold official talks.


The U.S. Secretary of State's visit to Mongolia after eight years will further strengthen the strategic third-neighbor partnership between the two countries. It is also significant for implementing the decisions agreed upon during the recently organized first Mongolia-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Dialogue.
