Zandanshatar Gombojav: The Ninth Regular Election of the State Great Khural Marks the Beginning of New 30 Years

Ulaanbaatar, June 28, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Chairman of the State Great Khural of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav and his spouse G. Oyun-Gerel have cast their votes at the “Nomuun Dalai” school in Bayankhongor soum, Bayankhongor aimag.
Chairman Zandanshatar noted that this election marks the beginning of a new 30 years for Mongolia. The Ninth Regular Election of the State Great Khural is taking place in the time to take responsibility. The reason is this election turns a new page in the history of the next 100 years, following the 100th anniversary of the People’s Revolution." Chairman Zandanshatar called on the voters to actively participate in the election to exercise their rights stated in the Constitution of Mongolia.
Voting for the 2024 regular election of the State Great Khural of Mongolia is open nationwide from 07:00-22:00 today. A total of 2,224,233 voters have been registered and voter turnout is over 20 percent by 11:40 local time.
