Ulaanbaatar, June 3, 2024 /MONTSAME/.  Summary of events for the week of June 3-9, 2024.

In Ulaanbaatar: 

June 3: At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Grigoryevich Lukashenko will pay a State Visit to Mongolia.

June 3: There will be a meeting of parties and groups of the State Great Khural.

June 4, 5: Standing Committee sessions of the State Great Khural will be held at the State Palace.

June 5: The regular meeting of the Cabinet will be held at the State Palace.

June 5: The Mongolian Grand Theatre of National Art will display aLand of the SkyConcert for tourists.

June 5: Opportunities for trade, investment, and cooperation between Mongolia and CubaDiscussion will be held at the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

June 5: The Dionysus Theater will debut its first performance at the King's Cross Pub, Ulaanbaatar, offering a relaxed and accessible atmosphere for the younger generation.

June 6, 7:  A Plenary Session of the State Great Khural of Mongolia will be held at the State Palace.

June 8: The State Opera and Ballet Academic Theatre of Mongolia will stage "Troubadour," one of the masterpieces by the Italian genius composer Giuseppe Verdi.

Citizens of Mongolia residing in foreign countries who are eligible to participate in the 2024 Parliamentary Elections of Mongolia must submit their request to vote to the diplomatic mission of Mongolia, such as the Embassy, Consulate General, or Consulate, in their country of residence between May 6, 2024, and June 15, 2024, to participate in the Elections.

In connection with the 2024 Parliamentary Elections, civil migration has been suspended from April 29 to June 29, 2024.

Local Events: 

June 6: There will be an Opening Ceremony for theBayanbulagChildren's Summer Camp in Khovd aimag.

June 6-8: A Forum titled "Development of Tes Soum and Artssuur Port - 2024" to foster cross-border tourism will be held in Tes Soum, Zavkhan aimag.

June 7: The team of the JICA project, aimed at supporting independent living by promoting the employment of the target group of citizens, will work in Dundgobi aimag.
