Foreign Minister Battsetseg Meets China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi

On the sidelines of the 60th Munich Security Conference in Germany, Foreign Minister of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China and Director of the Chinese Communist Party Central Committee Foreign Affairs Commission Office Wang Yi on February 17, 2024.
At the Meeting, the two sides highlighted that 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the People's Republic of China, the 30th anniversary of the Treaty on Friendship and Cooperation between Mongolia and China, and the 10th anniversary of establishing the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The two Foreign Ministers further expressed satisfaction with the successful development of Mongolia-China relations and cooperation in all spheres to date.
The two sides agreed to pay particular attention to implementing infrastructure construction projects and programs that will create favorable conditions for intensifying trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Moreover, the two Foreign Ministers underscored that previous high-level reciprocal visits have made significant contributions to strengthening bilateral cooperation. They reaffirmed their willingness to work towards maintaining the frequency of the reciprocal visits during the upcoming historic anniversaries.
