Ulaanbaatar-Zamin-Uud-Erlian Passenger Trains to Resume Tomorrow

Ulaanbaatar, August 30, 2023 /MONTSAME/.  Ulaanbaatar-Zamin-Uud-Erlian passenger train service is to be restored.

The train service, which has been at a standstill for three years, will start tomorrow or on August 31, 2023. The first train will depart from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia tomorrow and will reach Erlian Railway Station, China on September 1.


The parties are working to restore passenger train services on Ulaanbaatar-Hohhot and Ulaanbaatar-Beijing routes in the near future.
