Politics
Ulaanbaatar,
February 10, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Culture Ch. Nomin received Ambassador
Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Poland to Mongolia Krzysztof Bojko.
The parties exchanged views on developing and expanding
our two countries’ cooperation in the culture sector and expanding the scope of
research, especially on fine arts, cinematography, and cultural heritage.
In particular, Ambassador Krzysztof Bojko offered to
jointly conduct research on archival records and organize an exhibition based
on the findings. In response, Minister of Culture Ch. Nomin favorably accepted
his offer and expressed her willingness to cooperate in order to organize the
exhibition in 2024.
Since the opportunity to cooperate with foreign
filmmakers is unfolded thanks to the newly approved law to
promote film production in Mongolia, two parties discussed the policy support
for joint film productions by artists of the two countries. In addition, they
discussed resuming the joint jazz bands’ concert, which was traditionally
organized among the jazz bands of our two countries, and allowing the bands to
exchange experiences.
