“Trio” wins Audience Award at 38th Warsaw Film Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Mongolian fiction drama film “Trio”, directed by Mr. Battumur Dorj, competed with 5000 films from 100 countries, and won the Audience Award at 38th Warsaw Film Festival.  Winning an award from an international elite group of film events after 46 years became an important milestone for the Mongolian film industry.


Trio: Leave No One Behind will premiere in Mongolian cinemas on February 24, 2023.


Rolling back the wheel of history, “The People’s Messenger” film, directed by Mr. D.Jigjid and written by Mr. Ch. Oidov, won the Best Female Actress for the role of Ariunaa at the 1st Moscow International Film Festival in 1959. Likewise, “The Legend of Motherland” a feature film, directed by Mr. G.Jigjidsuren, and Mr. J.Buntar, was awarded the Grand Prix-Crystal Globe of the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in 1976.
