Ulaanbaatar, September 9, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Rietberg Museum in Zurich, Switzerland, spotlighted Mongolian culture as part of the city’s annual “Museum Night” cultural festival.

Zurich’s annual “Long Night of Museums” cultural festival, held every September, sees the city’s leading museums remain open until 2 a.m., presenting exhibitions and activities to the public at reduced admission prices.

Approximately 4,000 residents of Zurich attended a vibrant cultural event jointly organized by the Embassy of Mongolia in Switzerland, the Rietberg Museum, and the Mandah Naran NGO.

Held as part of Zurich’s annual Museum Night on September 6, 2025, the program featured a rich array of activities that highlighted the art, spirit, and traditional lifestyle of Mongolian nomads. Visitors engaged in a painting workshop featuring animal motifs inspired by the upcoming international exhibition Mongols: Two Times, scheduled to open at the Rietberg Museum in October 2025.

The evening also featured captivating performances of the morin khuur, long songs, traditional folk dances, and an immersive introduction to the Mongolian ger, offering guests a glimpse into the country’s nomadic heritage.

The organizations involved are extending their partnership and preparing to open the international exhibition “Mongols: Two Times” at the Rietberg Museum in Zurich from October 24 to February 22, 2026.
