Pre-forum discussion takes place on ‘Revival of Energy’

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Starting from this week, a series of meetings are being organized in preparation for the Mongolian Economic Forum-2022. The forum is planned to take place on April 7-8.

 

More specifically, a sectoral meeting is being held under the theme, ‘Revival of Energy’, at the Ministry of Energy today.


With Deputy Minister of Energy M.Bayarmagnai giving opening remarks, the event kicked off with Minister of Energy N.Tavinbekh presenting the energy sector development projects planned for the New Revival Policy.

 



During the event, economists, energy sector specialists, researchers and experts will be discussing financing and investment for development projects, public-private partnerships, the current tariff system being implemented in the sector, and the sector’s contribution for Mongolia’s green development.

 

Prior to the Mongolian Economic Forum, each of the six objectives of the New Revival Policy that have been initiated by the Government of Mongolia, which includes the revival of energy, border checkpoints, industrial development, urban and rural development, and green growth as well as the productivity of government organizations, will be discussed at a series of meetings from March 21 to March 29.
