No COVID-19 deaths reported in the past 24 hours

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Ministry of Health reported that 262 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the past 24 hours. Specifically, 158 cases were confirmed in Ulaanbaatar city, with 100 cases in rural regions.


As of today, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Mongolia stands at 387,708.

 

It was also reported that no new COVID-19 related deaths have been counted. Currently, 2,583 people are receiving hospital treatment for COVID-19 whilst 4,711 people with mild symptoms of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.

 

Of the total patients currently undergoing treatment at hospitals, there are 974 patients in mild, 1,304 in serious, 253 in critical, and 52 in very critical conditions.

 

As of today, December 17, the coverage of 1st dose is 69.6 percent (2,264,299) and 2nd dose – 66.4 percent (2,159,905) of the total population. Moreover, 841,202 people (26.0 percent) have received 3rd dose or a booster shot of COVID-19 vaccines nationwide.
