‘Cluster Development Initiatives’ meeting takes place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The
Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry is closely working together
with governmental and international organizations to develop an internationally
competitive value chain of agricultural products and increase export of non-mining
products. On December 8, ‘Cluster Development initiatives’ meeting was held to
discuss the opportunities and advantages of supporting industries through
clusters, Germany’s experience in the field, and good practices of business clusters
in Mongolia.
In her opening remarks, MNCCI
Secretary General S.Bayasgalan said cluster development has become an effective
instrument for economic growth, stressing the importance of public-private partnerships
in supporting economic growth through clusters.
During the event, a discussion
was held on cluster development initiatives for economic diversification and sustainable
development.
