Foreign Minister receives German Ambassador

B.Battsetseg received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the
Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia Jörn Rosenberg on November 23.
During the meeting, Ambassador Jörn Rosenberg handed the
book, ‘Karakorum’, which published the results of the joint Mongolian-German
archeological expedition conducted in Kharkhorum over the course of 20 years.
Minister B.Battsetseg expressed gratitude for making the
results of the 20-year-long archeological research, successfully conducted under
the auspices of the two countries’ Presidents, available to public in both
Mongolian and German.
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the
establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Federal Republic of
Germany, the two sides are co-working to display an exhibition of rare
artefacts and historical findings, uncovered as a result of the joint expedition,
in 2024.
