Ambassador of India visits Selenge aimag

Selenge/MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Member of Parliament
Ch.Undram, Ambassador of India M.P. Singh paid a working visit to Selenge
aimag. On September 28, the Ambassador held a meeting with the aimag’s Governor
Sh.Orgil and officials to discuss cooperation opportunities.
Governor Sh.Orgil expressed a desire to cooperate in studying India’s experience of the agricultural sector, in particular household production and its equipment and methods, and improving the knowledge of students and sectors’ professionals.
Ambassador M.P.Singh expressed willingness to cooperate with Selenge aimag in the agricultural sector. “It is possible to cooperate in the field of milk production, training of teachers, government officials and some private sector specialists. 30 years ago, there was a time when India was short of milk. Today, the country leads in the world with its milk production thanks to the development of this industry. Also, we can cooperate in studying and introducing India’s experience of developing household production. Our country also has a lot of experience in training IT specialists. Thus, we are ready to work with Selenge aimag in all fields such as agriculture, culture and art, information technology. First of all, it plans to organize activities to involve teachers in the capacity building training of 1000 English teachers, for which professional teachers will be sent,” said the Ambassador.
The Governor thanked the Ambassador for his visit to Selenge aimag and wished the cooperation to be fruitful so that many people can benefit from it.
