BoM representatives attend ‘Financial Literacy’ webinar

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Representatives of the Bank of
Mongolia attended the ‘Financial Literacy’ webinar for experts organized on
September 22-23 by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the webinar, Mongolian representatives introduced activities being taken by Public Financial Education Center of the BoM for the improvement of the financial education of citizens and shared its experience. Representatives of central banks of Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Belarus also provided detailed information on the implementation of financial strategies and best practices to improve the financial literacy of the population, as well as the measures taken to train teachers.
Moreover, achievements in the development of information and methodological manuals, popularization of financial education, experience of interaction with international institutions, obstacles in the implementation of programs related to cultural, geographical and other peculiarities of countries were discussed on the online platform.
