653 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It was reported during today's press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 653 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Mongolia after 6,237 tests performed in the past 24 hours.
625 of the newly confirmed cases were reported in Ulaanbaatar
city while 28 were detected in rural areas.
As a result, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia have reached 55,067. In the past 24 hours, 533 people have been discharged from hospital, making the number of recoveries 48,674.
It was also reported that two people died from COVID-19, raising
the country’s death toll to 259.
As of today, 4,285 people are undergoing treatment of whom 118
are in very critical health condition.
