Foreign Minister receives Ambassador of Australia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On March 25, Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Australia to Mongolia Dave Vosen. 


Minister Battsetseg emphasized that it is important for Mongolia to develop cooperation with Australia, an important partner in the Asia and the Pacific region and its third neighbor, and also to promote trade and mutually beneficial investment. 


For his part, Ambassador Dave Vosen conveyed the greetings from Australia’s Foreign Minister Marise Payne and pledged to provide support to Mongolia in its fight against COVID-19 pandemic. 


The sides then shared views on present state of bilateral and international cooperation and measures to carry out in the near future.
