Kindergarten in Shariin Gol soum to be renovated within Grassroots program

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Member of the Parliament G.Damdinnyam, Governor of Darkhan-Uul aimag B.Azjargal, Manager of kindergarten No.17 of Shariin Gol soum D.Oyuntsetseg met today with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi Hiroyuki and signed an agreement for the grant assistance.
Within the framework of the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Projects program of the Government of Japan, MNT 400 million will be provided to the kindergarten No.17 of Shariin Gol soum for the renovation and expansion of the kindergarten building, as well as improvement of equipment.
During the meeting, MP G.Damdinnyam thanked the Government of Japan and its people, as well as the Embassy’s staff for rendering assistance and paying special attention to create favorable learning environment for children.
Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) provides grant assistance to the NGOs, hospitals, general education schools, research institutes and other non-profit organizations and enables them to implement projects.
