Teachers and staff of educational institutions involving in vaccination

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Teachers and staff of educational institutions started be be vaccinated from today, March 11.
A total
of 34,615 teachers and staff from state and private schools in nine districts of
the capital city will be inoculated. Specifically, there are 5,405 teachers and
staff in Bayangol district, 8,189 teachers and staff in Bayanzurkh district,
823 teachers and staff in Baganuur district, 102 teachers and staff in
Bagakhangai district, 995 teachers and staff in Nalaikh district, 6,128
teachers and staff in Songinokharkhan district, 4,674 teachers and staff in
Sukhbaatar district, 5,080 teachers and staff in Khan-Uul district and 3,219
teachers and staff in Chingeltei district.
According
to the State Emergency Commission’s decision, vaccination is being held at 18 locations. And it is planned to immunize teachers and staff of educational institutions within 2-3
days of period.
As reported by professional organization, vaccine efficacy will be 64 percent after receiving the first dose and 94 percent after the second dose. Since the start of vaccination in Mongolia on February 23, 48,625 people have got inoculated with the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine so far.
