Prime Minister meets Australian ambassador

L.Oyun-Erdene received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of
Australia to Mongolia Dave Vosen on February 25.
The Prime Minister said that the two countries that have
good friendly relations need to hold high-level reciprocal visits in the near
future and officially declare bilateral Extended Partnership relations.
The Ambassador congratulated Mr. Oyun-Erdene on his
appointment as Prime Minister of Mongolia and wished him success. He said that
Australia attaches great importance to regional relations and cooperation and
expressed confidence that Mongolia shares the same position.
At the meeting, the sides discussed possibilities to develop
cooperation in the fields of agriculture, mining, investment, education,
e-government, and reduction of corruption.
