Model center for youth employment services opens in Nalaikh district

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As part of a Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) project, model centers for youth employment services have been established in 15 aimags and 6 districts. The one in Nalaikh district was recently opened. Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection S.Zulfikar and SDC's Deputy Director of Cooperation and First Secretary in Mongolia Benoît Meyer-Bisch attended the opening ceremony.
The model centers offer some new employment services
and schemes aimed at encouraging youth entering the labor market, especially
those who have just graduated and have little work experience.
At the center, modular training sessions will be
provided every 4 to 5 weeks to support youth collaboration and allow young members of the society to
learn more about themselves, make contact with employers, develop their skills
to be successful in job interviews and share their job hunting and on the job
experiences with others.
