265 citizens brought back on flight from Australia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A charter flight en route Sydney-Ulaanbaatar landed at Buyant-Ukhaa International Airport yesterday on July 30 at 10.50 pm. 

 

The flight brought home 265 Mongolian nationals, of whom 21 are from Cebu Island, Philippines. Among the passengers, there were 4 persons with disabilities, 38 elderly people and their caretakers, 49 people with medical reasons, 74 families with young children, 18 pregnant women, and 60 people with other reasonable excuses.


The citizens have been immediately put into 21-day mandatory isolation at the National Center for Communicable Diseases and other isolation facilities, reported the operative team of the State Emergency Commission.
