Foreign Minister meets Ambassador of North Korea

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs N.Enkhtaivan on June 23 received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea O Sung Ho.
Expressing gratitude for the congratulatory letter received from DPRK’s Foreign Minister Ri Son-gwon, Foreign Minister N.Enkhtaivan expressed his commitment to continue the further development of historical and traditional friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries. He also stressed the opportunities for further development of bilateral relations in the fields of culture, education and humanitarian.
Ambassador O Sung Ho congratulated Minister N.Enkhtaivan on his appointment and wished success in his endeavors. “The government and the party of the DPRK are in an unalterable stance to develop traditionally friendly relations with Mongolia, and as an Ambassador, I will work actively to further develop this bilateral ties which was established by the successive leaders of our two countries more than 70 years ago” the Ambassador said.
