18 new COVID-19 cases confirmed, total 268

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD) D.Nyamkhuu informed, at today’s regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health, that 18 people have been tested positive for COVID-19 when tests carried out for 62 peacekeepers who came on the charter flight arrived yesterday, July 14.
Earlier, 10
peacekeepers evacuated from Afghanistan on July 12 have been tested positive
for the virus. As a result, a total of 28 out of 62 peacekeepers have been diagnosed
with the virus.
The total number of
confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country has reached 268, with 207 recoveries.
Currently, there are 54 people are undergoing treatment at the NCCD.
