Awards Presented to Students Who Achieved Success in International Olympiads

Ulaanbaatar, September 5, 2025 /MONTSAME/. During the 2024–2025 academic year, 23 Mongolian students won medals from seven types of international Olympiads.
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa presented his eponymous awards to the students who successfully demonstrated their talents, knowledge, education, and skills in international Olympiads, thereby promoting the reputation of Mongolia worldwide, as well as to the organising committees that prepared them.
In 2021, the President issued a decree instructing the Government to create conditions and incentives for students to participate in international Olympiads, to enhance the intellectual recognition of Mongolians, strengthening their competitiveness in scientific knowledge at the international level, and encouraging participation.
Students who win medals at international Olympiads also gain the right to enrol in leading universities around the world and pursue studies under the “President’s Scholar-2100” Scholarship Program.
Over the past eight years, Mongolian students have won a total of eight gold, 35 silver, 74 bronze, and 17 special prizes at international Olympiads.
