COVID-19 recoveries increase to 168, no new cases reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Director of the National Center for Communicable Diseases D.Nyamkhuu reported, at today’s daily Covid-19 briefing of the Ministry of Health, that no new cases of Covid-19 were detected in the country on June 23 and 10 patients have recovered after 28-41 days of treatment, taking the total number of recoveries in 215 total cases in the country to 168.  

 

Specifically, on June 23, a total of 249 tests - second tests of 8 people in quarantine at quarantine facilities and first tests of 16 random people, 9 people in quarantine, 212 truck drivers that came into the country through Altanbulag and Zamiin-Uud border checkpoints, and 4 people in quarantine in Selenge aimag – were carried out and the test results all came out negative.

 

The 10 recovered patients – seven male and three female aged 19-35 – are students that study in Russia. Now, 47 Covid-19 patients are receiving treatment at the National Center for Communicable Diseases.
