Disastrous occurrences decrease in capital city

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. As of the first quarter of this year, a total of 516 emergency calls on disastrous occurrence and technical issues have been recorded in the capital city.


Of these calls, 465 or 90.1 percent were household fires and 51 or 9.9 percent were household and technical accidents. The total number of calls decreased by 41.4 percent compared with the same period of the previous year.


Rescuers of the capital city saved 324 lives and protected property worth MNT 8.3 million.
