Fodder and hay to be distributed to regions experiencing severe winter

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At its today’s meeting, the Cabinet decided to distribute a total of 3.8 tons of hay to several aimags, where wintering conditions are at a critical level, for free of charge from the State Reserve.
The aimags include Arkhangai, Bulgan, Gobisumber, Dornogobi, Orkhon, Zavkhan, Umnugobi, Khentii, Khuvsgul and Uvs as well as Ulaanbaatar city. Moreover, 3000 tons of fodder will be sold at 50 percent discount.
Off-road vans, cross country vehicles, Gers, boats, personal protective equipment, disinfection and sterilization substances and face masks will be provided to emergency departments of several regions.
The Cabinet allowed Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin to finance the required costs for salaries and other costs of emergency response measures and actions taken in the second half of 2019 from the 2020 State Budget .
