Deputy Mining Minister works in Shivee Khuren border checkpoint

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. A working group headed by Deputy Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry D.Zagdjav is working at Shivee Khuren border checkpoint of Umnugobi aimag in connection with the decision made by the State Emergency Commission to resume the export of coal through Shivee Khuren and Gashuunsukhait border checkpoints from March 15.


Local administration and representatives of relevant organizations presented the problems and challenges and the measures being taken during heightened state of readiness.


The preparation works of Shivee Khuren border checkpoint to resume the export of coal is fully provided and the border checkpoint is able to pass 200 vehicles during quarantine regime, according to Commander of border unit No. 0166 B.Munkhbat,

The local emergency commission of Umnugobi aimag has been charged to establish temporary disinfection facility with a capacity to disinfect 200 vehicles a day and it will consume up to 10 liters of water per vehicle. After the disinfection process is completed, a customs and professional inspections will be performed.  


MNT 100-170 million will be spent on aforementioned processes and it was set to be financed by four companies operating at Nariin Sukhait mine.


Deputy Minister D.Zagdjav expressed gratitude towards the professional organizations and the companies for their cooperation during heightened state of readiness.
