ADB to work on expanding its cooperation in new fieldsSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mr. Pavit Ramachandran, the ADB new country director for Mongolia has taken his office. As the head of the country office, he will work for ensuring coherence of activities between ADB and the government, private sector, civil society stakeholders, and development partners.
Mr. Pavit Ramachandran yesterday held a meeting with representatives of some press organizations. Mr. Ramachandran noted that ADB and Mongolia have a very strong and long-standing relationships of 28 years. "Besides focusing on financial assistance to resolve pressing economic and social issues of the country, we will work on expanding our activities in new fields such as gender, climate change, and private sector development."
