NUM student’s article published on journal indexed in Web of Science

/MONTSAME/ Hydrology graduate student of the Department of Applied Mathematics
of the National University of Mongolia (NUM), research student of the NUM Environmental
Engineering Laboratory M.Enkh-Uur published an article titled ‘Application of
the City Blueprint Approach in Landlocked Asian Countries: A Case Study of
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia’ as the first author in the Water international
scientific journal in January, 2020.
The journal published online by the Swiss Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute is indexed in the Web of Science and Scopus multidisciplinary reference databases and has an impact factor of 2.5 as well as a CiteScore of 2.66 which equals rank 39/203 (Q1) in 'Water Science and Technology'.
M.Enkh-Uur
graduated from NUM with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Protection
Technology in 2018 and in 2017, she started taking part in the City Blueprint research project
launched in 2016 with Professor Kees van Leeuwen and Dr. Steven Koop from the KWR
Watercycle Research Institute of the Netherlands under NUM Professor O.Altansukh’s
guidance.
The research
project is a collaboration with the National Agency of Meteorology and
Environment Monitoring, Water Supply and Sewerage Authority, Land Management and
Integrated Water Policy Coordination Department and River Basin Management
Division of the Environment Ministry, and other national and international
water organizations. So far, the collaboration has resulted in one major
project, one international article, one textbook, and presentations at six academic
conferences. The research project is planned to be implemented in Darkhan and
Erdenet cities.
