Kindergarten in Tumentsogt soum to be refurbished

On October 13, Governor of Sukhbaatar J.Erdenebaatar and chargé d'affaires ad
interim of the Embassy of Japan in Mongolia Shinichiro Hayashi signed a
cooperation agreement to renovate the building of a kindergarten of Tumentsogt
soum in Zavkhan aimag with a grant of over USD 300 million under Japan's Grant
Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects (GGP) Program.
The project’s
bid will be announced in April, 2020 and renovation works will commence in
June. "Currently, 200 children are receiving preschool education at the
kindergarten which was initially built with 90 beds around 40 years ago. I am
very grateful that our kindergarten will be upgraded," said the kindergarten’s
teacher Kh.Munkhchimeg,
