Business officials visiting Germany

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Under the EU-funded Trade Related Assistance of Mongolia (TRAM) project, representatives of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI), Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ulaanbaatar Customs Administration, Odi Tan LLC, Khanbogd Cashmere LLC, and Sor Cashmere LLC are paying a working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.


On November 5, the delegation stopped by the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK), talking with relevant authorities about the expansion of cooperation between the chambers of the two countries and new opportunities for cooperation. Member of the DIHK Management Board Ilja Nothnagel and DIHK Director for East and South East Europe and Central Asia Maxi Hülsen introduced their operations and specialist of the German Corporation for International Cooperation Annette Will presented the country’s public-private partnership schemes.



The delegation led by MNCCI Chairman O.Amartuvshin also visited the Germany Trade and Invest Agency, getting acquainted with its structure, membership policy, and activities for export promotion and trade facilitation.


On November 6, they got familiarized with the operation of the Leipzig Chamber of Commerce and Industry, exchanging experience and discussing opportunities for cooperation, and visited the vocational training center of the Chamber of Handicraftsmen of Leipzig city, one of the 52 handicraftsman chambers in Germany.
