Creative space room set up

Khovd /MONTSAME/ A creative space room was set up at the American Culture and Information Center in Khovd aimag.


Mr. Nicole Homier, specialist in charge of Fulbright program at Bureau for Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, Adam Hennings, U.S. Embassy Assistant Public Affairs Officer as well as local executive officials and representatives of secondary school pupils and students attended the opening of the hall. 


By opening the creative space room, pupils and students are encouraged to develop their innovative mind and acquire team-working skills. Training and free activities for supporting their creative mind are planned to be held at stages. Moreover, the officials said that they would take actions targeted to improve English speaking skill of secondary school pupils and students of Khovd University and increase the number of students and youths who will be involved in fellowship programs announced by the U.S. Embassy.


The U.S. Embassy announces number of fellowship programs dedicated to pupils, students, teachers and scholars such as Flex, Fulbright, Global UGRAD, SUSI, Hubert Hamphrey, FLTA, TEA and e-teacher.
