Tribute paid to Monument of Repressed in Moscow
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. In
honor of the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Political Repression on
September 10, representatives from the staff of the Embassy of Mongolia to the
Russian Federation including counsellor D.Galsandondog, the Mongolian companies
and organizations operating in Russia, and Mongolians studying in the country paid
a tribute to the Monument for Mongolians who were falsely accused and shot to death in Communarka, which was the site of the People’s
Commissariat for Internal Affairs (NKVD) mass shootings, in the south-west
of the center of Moscow.
Among those from over 60 nations, more than 400 Mongolians including noble victims: Prime Minister A.Amar and revolutionary leader D.Losol were killed and buried there.
