Deputy Education Minister meets with representatives of Japanese cities

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports G.Ganbayar received delegates from Shizuoka prefecture of Japan including the Mayor of Shimada city Someya Kinuyo, Mayor of Izunokuni Ono Toshiko and Deputy Mayor of Yaizu Furuya Eiji on August 6.

The parties emphasized that Mongolian athletes of box, free wrestling, judo and para athletics have been training in several cities of Japan since 2015 and that they demonstrated higher achievements. It was also noted that the athletes are making contribution to strengthening bilateral cooperation, mutual exchange and promotion of customs and culture of the two countries. 

A total of 200 athletes were involved in 15 training sessions, of which boxers were trained in Shimada, free wrestlers and para athletes in Yaizu and judokas in Izunokuni respectively. 

Deputy Minister G.Ganbayar expressed gratitude to the delegates for organizing successful trainings for Mongolian athletes and presented memorial trophies to them.
