Views exchanged on strengthening Mongolia and the US Expanded Comprehensive Partnership

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 1, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received delegates headed by the United States National Security Advisor, Ambassador John R. Bolton, who is on visit to Mongolia.


The sides exchanged views on bringing mutually trusted and friendly ties at strategic level, strengthening ‘Expanded Comprehensive Partnership’, carrying on high level talks, deepening political and economic relations, realizing Roadmap for Economic Expanded Partnership between Mongolia and the United States, developing cooperation in new fields as well as ratifying The Third Neighbor Trade Act by the U.S.Congress and other matters.

Highlighting that the United States is an important third neighbor and a close partner of Mongolia, the PM noted that Mongolia attaches great significance to relations with the U.S. Moreover, the PM highly appraised importance and implementation of the Second Compact Agreement established between Mongolia and the Millennium Challenge Corporation and reaffirmed invitations for President of the United States D.Trump and Vice President M.Pence to visit Mongolia. 


Mr. John R.Bolton expressed he is pleased with visiting Mongolia and conveyed greetings of Vice President M.Pence to the PM.


Saying that the US considers Mongolia as an important partner in the region, Mr.John Bolton noted that he is for expanding relations and cooperation between Mongolia and the United States.
