National team leads in the group at FIBA 3x3

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian men’s national basketball team competing in the FIBA 3x3 U18 World Cup started leading in the C group, winning Latvia 20-16 and Belarus 21-15 respectively.

Mongolia and the US are leading in the group with two wins each. Men’s national team will play with the teams of the US and Georgia today and the two winning teams will compete further.


Men’s national team consists of A.Batkhuyag, L.Avirmed, U.Perenleijamts and Sh.Enkhiin-Od. Perenleijamts is son of renowned wrestler Wide Giant G.Usukhbayar and Enkhiin-Od is son of renowned basketball player, State Honored Athlete Sharavjamts.
