Foreign Minister receives Chairman of APCAC

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar received Mr. Jackson Cox, Chairman of the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce (APCAC) and the member of American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham) in Mongolia on May 17.
Mr. Jackson Cox emphasized that the AmCham considers economy of Mongolia to be competitive and could be diversified as well. He also noted that AmCham is focusing on the agriculture sector of the country.
Foreign Minister expressed gratitude for supporting Mongolia Third Neighbor Trade Act to the US Congress despite its complicated process of discussing draft bills on bilateral trade. He noted that if the US Congress approves the draft bill, it will have positive impact on the increase of exports of agricultural and light industry products and a real support for the development of the wool and cashmere industry.
Mr. Jackson Cox also informed that the US delegation of private sector and government officials will be visiting Mongolia next month.
