Snow expected in central and eastern aimags

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Slight snow is expected in northern parts of central and eastern aimags on March 4, and temperature is to drop in most areas of the country.
Small amount of snowfall is also expected in eastern parts of eastern aimags on March 5, and northern parts of western and central aimags on March 7.
Wind speed will reach 12-14 m/sec in eastern aimags on March 5, and some parts of the western and central aimags on March 7.
In the depression of Uvs lake and Darkhad, in the head of Zavkhan rivers, in the basins of Ider and Tes rivers, the night-time temperature will range from -27 to -32 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be -14 to -19.
In mountainous areas of Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentei, near Khurenbelchir, in the basins of Eg-Uur, Tuul and Terelj rivers, the temperature will be -20 to -25 during the night, and -5 to -10 during the day.
The night-time temperature for the southern parts of the gobi region will be -8 to -13, whereas during the day, it will have +3 to +8 degrees Celsius.
In other areas, the night-time temperature will be -13 to -18 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be -1 to +4 degrees Celsius. Temperature is expected to rise in western aimags on March 6, and most areas of the country on March 7.
