Device for detecting asbestos-related lung disease at early stage presented
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Under the project being jointly implemented by JICA and National Pathology Center (NPC) in 2018-2020, ‘Improving Capacity of Diagnosing Lung Diseases Associated with Asbestos Dust at an Early Stage’, NanoZoomer-SQ telepathology device was today, presented to NPC.
The scanner can detect asbestos-related lung disease, which is increasing in Mongolia according to recent studies, at an early
stage using a microscope.
