Environment Minister meets Nagoya University delegates

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Environment and Tourism N.Tserenbat met with delegates headed by Seiichi Matsuo, President of Nagoya University at their request.


At the meeting Mr. Seiichi Matsuo noted the university has established cooperation with the National University of Mongolia and the Mongolian University of Science and Technology over a decade ago and has been providing students with courses in environmental studies. The university has started offering distance learning PhD degree for the civil servants who work while studying. The programme has involved six Mongolian students, of which two are from the Ministry of Environment and Tourism.


Minister N.Tserenbat expressed pleasure with the cooperation between Mongolia and Japan, expressing willingness to expand cooperation with Nagoya University as well as its Graduate School of Environmental Studies.
