Long Term Program on Military Cooperation signed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu is paying an official visit to Mongolia today, October 18 at the invitation of Mongolian Defense Minister N.Enkhbold.


Defense Ministers N.Enkhbold and S.Shoigu held talks on defense sector relations, military cooperation and further directions and signed Long Term Program on Development of Military Cooperation between the two ministries. The program defines further directions of cooperation development in defense, management in the armed forces, military education, research, medical and humanitarian relations.


Furthermore, the Defense Ministers attended the military equipment handover ceremony, provided by the Russian Ministry of Defense to the Mongolian Armed Forces.
