Prime Minister meets President of World Bank
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 20, Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh met with World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim. The meeting discussed cooperation between Mongolia and the World Bank, its outcomes, and further actions to be taken.
Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh extended gratitude to the World
Bank for about 30 years of bilateral cooperation and its valuable contribution
to the economy of Mongolia.
Mr. Jim Yong Kim expressed his satisfaction with the economic recovery
of Mongolia following the joint programs and policy actions.
The Prime Minister emphasized the Government of Mongolia is
attaching great significance to the expansion of the first phase of the Economic
Management Support Operation project and fruitful implementation of its second
phase.
He then noted willingness to focus on intensification of the
joint program’s implementation and stabilization of the economic growth.
