Ambassador of France proposes to establish joint school

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On June 10, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports Ts.Tsogzolmaa met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Mongolia Elisabeth Barsacq, exchanging views on Mongolia-French joint secondary school.

Ambassador Elisabeth Barsacq informed the Minister that her term of office comes to an end, stressing cooperation between the two countries has been effective and extensive. She then noted "It is necessary for France to be familiar with and understand Mongolian culture. Artists of the two countries are very interested in art, culture and film art of each other. It is very positive attitude. I believe that number of children and young people who are interested in language and culture of France will grow and a joint school of the two countries is important for it", expressing her hope that the Ministry will support this issue.

In turn, Minister Ts.Tsogzolmaa expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for developing cooperation between the two countries, especially in culture and education sector while getting acquainted with Mongolian language and culture. She emphasized her hope that the ambassador will give her friends and people good information about Mongolia. Then she conveyed her willingness to focus on further expansion of bilateral ties and cooperation, citing that the number of children who are interested in French culture has been rising day by day according to the university enrollment"
