Nomads’ heritage to be displayed during ‘One day of Mongolia’ cultural festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘One day of Mongolia’ cultural festival, which aims to promote nomadic heritage and culture of Mongolia and folk arts abroad and extend the cultural services and events of the Naadam festival, is to be held at Mongol Naadam complex in Khui Doloon Khudag on June 11-12.

Mongolian University of Arts and Culture and Arts Council of Mongolia will jointly hold the cultural festival, which will be sponsored by Rio Tinto. Mongol Naadam Complex, Khan Bank and Governor's office of Chingeltei district are working to organize the event with innovative content and interesting programs.

The cultural festival was initially hosted by over 300 people consists of lecturers and students of Mongolian University of Arts and Culture, advisor at METAA company in South Korea, and staff and atists of Arts Council of Mongolia in 2008.

By visiting the cultural festival, citizens and foreign guests can learn about national heritage and traditional crafts, and watch performances of ethnic arts while watching horse racing.
