Mongolian students attend model United Nations Conference

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Students of ‘New Era’ general educational school represented Mongolia in the model United Nations Conference, held in New York City on March 8-11.

Along with more than 2,500 delegates from 130 countries, they participated in rigorous debates about critical issues facing people around the world. This year’s Future We Want Model United Nations Conference (FWWMUN) provided delegates the opportunity to explore issues the United Nations faces today.

The Model UN is an educational experience that helps to train future world leaders and introduce students to some of the world’s most pressing issues. Delegates debate the UN General Assembly, Economic and Social Council, and other official committees giving them the opportunity to live the experience of diplomats.
