State central second hospital upgrades operation rooms

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Second Central Hospital has upgraded its three operation rooms into vacuum rooms in compliance with international standard.
At the request of the Ministry of Health, the renovation work for three rooms started in August and lasted 3 months. So far, first operations have been carried out after inaugurating the rooms.
The vacuum rooms will play a vital role to decrease a wound infection after surgery and improve patient safety as well.
