FM D.Tsogtbaatar meets OSCE Secretary General

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar met OSCE Secretary General Thomas Greminger on the sidelines of the 24th Meeting of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Ministerial Council held on December 7-8 in Vienna.
The Minister congratulated the Secretary General on his appointment. Minister D.Tsogtbaatar reiterated that Mongolia gives crucial importance to its relations with the OSCE, expressing Mongolia’s interest to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
The Minister proposed to cooperate on several areas including human trafficking and prevention from and fight against terrorism, inquiring into the possibility for young Mongolians to intern at the OSCE Secretariat and affiliates.
Secretary General Thomas Greminger acknowledged the contribution of Mongolia in OSCE activities as its youngest member, expressing the OSCE’s willingness to look into the proposal and cooperate.
